Beautiful – by Christina Aguilera is a song that tells the story of someone who is fighting against low self-esteem and insecurity issues.It leaves a positive message in us that its inner beauty that matters the most and what the society thinks and their opinion on us should not cause a negative impact in our lives.

I love her strong vocals in the song,the lyrics and the message it delivers.

I love listening to this song when I feel low, it just inspires me to be strong.I don’t have the same problems but I try to feel the  music video and lives of others who are going through insecurity and low-esteem issues and how they feel.Its just too sad.Sometimes, even I go through self-confidence problems when I think of my decisions, the choices I make, my future and the criticisms that I might receive for my actions.It frustrates me .But slowly I manage convincing myself that its I, who is to decide about the choices I make in my life and no one has the right to judge me cos whatever consequences my actions draw,its me, myself who is to achieve/suffer. And I decide to never take the criticisms personally.

 

 

 

 

P.S : Care not what the people thinks about you.Don’t let criticisms trigger your lives. Be who you are, who you want to be and the choice you make for yourself  is all yours.

DW by Kanye West

Kanye, he’s an awesome rapper, a Grammy award winner and now a designer!By now everyone must be aware of all the details of his debut collection DW showcased during the Paris Fashion Week, the reviews of the critics and the entire world who anticipated much to view his collection,Oct 1. I love his music and I was also the ‘anxious one’ to get a peek.

Personally, I think he did a great job and some of his pieces were great.I loved his color selection,the neutrals,black, white and some metallics, the deep V cuts and extreme silouhettes.The shoes for which he collaborated with Guiseppe Zanotti were STUNNING, do I have to say that ‘The Zanottis are always Stunning’? Ugh I said it.

He’s new for this Women’s Wear thing. So Don’t hate on him,be supportive and help him grow, help every new comers in every new field grow.

Song for the week : Diamonds are forever- Kanye West.

From this month on, I’l be posting some awesome  songs as  “Song for the Week” which will be included in the music category.

I loveee Kanye West and he falls No.2 on my favorite singers list after Drake. Thought of featuring him for my first “Song for the Week” section to congratulate him for his debut as a designer at Paris Fashion Week.I think his collections were stunning as a new-comer and looking forward to more of his works as a designer.

And there’s no doubt on his talent as a musician. One of the most awesome songs I’ve ever heard ,

Cakes.

Personally, I’m not a huge fan of cake and chocolates and desserts and every thing that’s sweet.Ok, this might sound crazy for some of you out there cos even I’ve never met anyone who dislikes eating sweet stuffs , except for myself.Its not that I hate it,I eat them some times but I never crave for sweet stuffs.What do I do with the special chocolates my mom and others bring from Swiss? I give them to my brother Now thats sweet isn’t it? haha

Sweet stuffs, you like it or not, they always make the occasions and celebrations special and memorable , especially the moment when people around sing for the birthday before cutting the cake. aww

This special cake was for my 19th birthday last April , From Hotel Annapurna,  I licked off  the “PRINCESS”  written before my name.

When I was about to cut my cake, this was what I thought “I’m gonna cut you , you sweet stuff. ” Evil laugh*

 

This gorgeous one was ordered for my Beau’s birthday last July,with love , from Hotel Yak and Yeti.

This last one was to celebrate our one year relationship together  from Hotel Shangri-La.

Here are my picks from the Blugirl Spring Summer -2012 . The collection is feminine and lively as always and the colors used are so fresh,especially the lemon yellow, orange and green.The dresses with ruffles, feathers and sequins looks flowy and light.Not to forget,the dresses with 3D floral textures appear so cute and girly.The accessories features ankle-strap,color blocked and floral heels,some straw hats, beautiful bags and clutches with bows and gorgeous flowery neck pieces and bracelets. The 2012 Spring Summer runway looks so fun to look at all these.Anna Molinari, the sensuality and femininity of her collections are so delightful to watch.She’s one of my favorite designers and all her labels are so lovely and charming. Wish to buy something from her label someday.

I’m in love with these maxi-dresses, the high slits and the second one with the clash of floral and animal prints.

P.S : Have you watched the Blumarine SS-2012 collections?  They’re to die for! The black+ neon hues, skirts and cropped tops , prints with hawaaian vibe and the all black and all white ensembles with lots of flowers, stunning,wow,I wanna yell. haha. Maybe I’l feature my top looks from the Blumarine label on my next post!

Burberry Trenches and My new Fall lust : The Parkas.

Trench coats are feminine and edgy.It never goes out of style and can be worn with almost everything.They can be worn on any seasons depending on the fabric.And it is one of the best outfit that can be used for layering.They’ll remain a timeless purchase for many years  and there’s no doubt we’ll love them and wear them forever.

Everyone knows Burberry, famous for its iconic trench coats. Burberry showcases gorgeous trench coats,leaving us awed with its impeccable and luxe pieces. I think they’re worth the splurge.

And this one from 2011: The cropped version with a belt and a  biker-chic vibe. They’re stunning.

Well I think I can manage half the price

Earthquake Rocks Nepal.

An earthquake measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale shook eastern parts of Nepal including Kathmandu Valley(where I reside) and northeastern India  yesterday evening.It was the most shaky and strong tremor I’ve (most Nepalis) experienced until now. It was around 6:30 evening when the tremors were felt, it lasted for about a minute..I was at a shop 5 mins far from my home with my mom.There’s no doubt about how scared we were but me and my mum’s concern was my bro who was alone at home.He’s 16, I mean old enough to get himself to a secure place( left us scared cos he was alone and we thought he’d panic).When we reached home, he was fine, standing out waiting for us. aw. And love for Gyaltsen who managed to call me even during the quake.aw.

During the tremor,I was scared(obviously) and it felt like my heart was pumping in my mouth.There were hardly 5-6 people near the shop but as soon as the tremor started being felt, about a hundred swarmed out of their houses to the nearby open field.To see a huge crowd swarming in the spot where there were hardly 5-6 people a few seconds ago was really surprising.I never imagined such a huge crowd would emerge all of a sudden from comparatively thin settled area.Panic stricken people were screaming and crying and jumped here and there.That particular moment left me, in fact everyone to realize  how important life is to us. Also ridiculed to see some people panic soo much they almost fainted cos of panic-attack.We hurried home and tried contacting our dear ones,but the phone networks were jammed cos every individual was doing what we were doing.After the earthquake I was left imagining how the situation would be in places like Ason (one of the most congested place in Kathmandu).The imagination turned really scary when my dad and uncle told us later at night how the chandelier in a building of Thaiti, Thamel (also one of the congested place) swayed like a pendulum.Geez, and there was hardly any secure place to run to with a huge huge crowd and old buildings all around that left them thinking ‘Ok we’re done today’. But they came safe! Thank God!

According to the news, the residents were tormented by the quake that rocked the city.It caused a lot of damages.Some people even jumped in panic, out of their windows to be safe  die .13 died in India and  5 in Nepal. May their souls Rest In Peace.

Lesson Learned :Maybe a signal of 2012? lol.. Please Panic less during such calamities and help yourself to a secure place.Stay safe! But remember no man can run from mother nature’s calamity if the situation gets worse.
